Staengl Engineering is excited to announce our latest passive house project, 24th & Union, coming to downtown Seattle with partners b9 Architects & Cascade Built. The multi-family housing project will feature 100+ high-performance units in the heart of the Central District providing a more comfortable and environmentally sound way to live for residents of the area. The project teams have worked closely with the city to break through the ‘split incentive problem’ and bring a massive energy-reducing project to the city, having already been accepted into the EEaS (Energy Efficiency as a Service) Program.
